Jack’s Point Golf Limited: Terms and Conditions of Play


Booking & Cancellation:

•       Tee Sheets open 270-days in advance via Chronogolf by Lightspeed (8-players maximum). All Tee Times requests in excess of 270-days are managed by our Waitlist Provider, Noteefy.  

•       Tee Times for 9 (or more) players are deemed a Group/Corporate Booking and are to be administered by our Golf Operations team. Please email our Golf Group/Events Manager: golfevents@jackspoint.co.nz

•       Tee Times for 8 players or less require a Valid Credit Card to authorise the Booking. Our Credit Card Payment Gateway provider is Stripe.  

•       Group/Corporate bookings must pay a 50% deposit to confirm the Tee Times. Full payment is required 14-days prior to the date of play.  

•       Cancellations >7-days (168-hours) in advance of Tee Times will be fully refunded.  

•       Cancellations between 7-days (168-hours) and 3-days (72-hours) in advance of Tee Times will be refunded 50% of the applicable Green Fee/s.

•       Cancellations <3-days (72-hours) in advance of Tee Times are subject to 100% payment, unless the Golf Course is closed for any reason by the Operator, or subject to the Operator’s discretion.  

•       Alteration of Tee Times - Subject to availability, the Operator will endeavour to alter Tee Times that are unable to be utilised by up-to 7-days, at no additional charge.  

•       We regret that we are unable offer refunds due to delayed and/or cancelled flights, or changes to travel plans, regardless of personal injury and/or illness. We strongly recommend that all those with Tee Times have current and/or suitable travel insurance.  

 

Further:

•       Day of play - All players are requested to check in with the Golf Shop team at least 30 minutes prior to their Tee Time.  

•       Times of play - The course is open 7 days/week in season. Please see Tee Sheet for tee time availability.

•       Winter closure - The course closes for annual winter maintenance (approximately 8weeks from late-June to late-August). Please see website for more details.    

•       Course renovation works - Full green renovations are completed in late-December prior to the Christmas Holiday period.  

•       Replay round - a reduced green fee rate is available for all rounds played within 10days of paying a full Visitor green fee rate. All replay rounds include the use of a golf cart/trundler.  

•       Rates - All prices listed on the Tee Sheets and on the website are in New Zealand Dollar (NZD). All rates are per person and are subject to change. Junior/Youth rates are available by application to the Golf Operations team.  

•       Handicaps - All players must be suitably skilled to comfortably navigate 18-holes at Jack’s Point. A current/valid handicap certificate must be presented, if requested.  

•       Method of payment - Payment is required in full prior to any Tee Times. Bank Transfer, Eftpos/Credit Card (Fees may apply), and Cash are accepted payment methods.   

•       Pace of Play - Our expected pace of play is 4 hours 30 minutes. All players are required to adhere to this Policy. Following one warning from the Course Ranger, failure to suitably comply with this Policy may result in removal from the golf course without refund/raincheck.  

•       Rental Clubs – Premium Ping Rental Clubs are available for Hire from the Golf Operations team. Please note the preferred Gender, Shaft stiffness, and Dexterity at the time of Booking. The Operator cannot guarantee the preferred club settings will all be available. The Hiree is liable for any Loss and/or Damage incurred by the Operator to Rental Clubs.  

•       Golf Carts - All Tee Time Fees are inclusive of the use of a shared golf cart, unless otherwise specified. Driver/s of Golf Carts must hold a Full (or equivalent) Driving License and over the age of 18-years. Driver/s must not be over the prescribed legal alcohol limit for driving a car on New Zealand roads. The Hiree is liable for any Loss and/or Damage incurred by the Operator to their allocated Golf Cart – the Hiree is advised to identify any damage that may be present on the Golf Cart in advance of proceeding away from the Golf Cart staging area adjacent to the Golf Shop.     

•       Dress code - Smart/casual attire is always required – tailored jeans free from damage/holes are acceptable. All players must be wearing suitable footwear – metal-spike golf shoes are not acceptable. Rental Shoes are available for hire. The Hiree is liable for any Loss and/or Damage incurred by the Operator to Rental Shoes.   

•       Clubhouse facilities - Includes Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms, Golf Shop, Jack’s Restaurant, and surrounding amenities. Bookings for Jack’s Restaurant are required and can be completed via email: restaurant@jackspoint.co.nz  

•       Warm-up Range - All Visitors with a Tee Time may on their allocated day-of-play utilise the Warm-up Range, Practice Putting Green, and complimentary range balls for the period of 1-hour prior to the Tee Time.  

•       Operator/Wholesale or trade enquiries - Please email your request to be a registered wholesale agent by contacting our Golf Group/Events Manager on golfevents@jackspoint.co.nz.  

•       Disclaimer - As pertains to all statements in Terms and Conditions of Play, the Operator reserves the right – acting reasonably, to alter any of these conditions without prior notice.
